2. Data we collect
We collect personal data only when you provide it to us, or when required to meet a legal obligation:
a) When you contact us (enquiry by email, phone or WhatsApp): your name, contact details (email and/or phone), desired stay dates, and the content of your message.
b) For booking and stay: data needed to arrange and provide the accommodation, including advance-payment (deposit) details (no card data — payment is not processed through the website).
c) For the legally required guest registration (eVisitor): first and last name, gender, date and place of birth, citizenship, type and number of ID document, and arrival/departure dates. For registration we inspect your ID document.
d) Automatically, via the website: the site sets no tracking cookies and uses no analytics or advertising tools (see the “Cookies” section).
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Answering enquiries and preparing a booking — steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract.
- Performing the accommodation contract.
- Guest registration in eVisitor and meeting tax and other legal obligations — compliance with legal obligations.
4. Recipients
We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. We may share data with:
- the local Tourist Board / Croatian National Tourist Board and competent authorities via the eVisitor system, as required by law;
- tax and other competent authorities, where legally required;
- Meta Platforms (WhatsApp) — if you contact us via WhatsApp, your communication runs through their service under their terms and privacy policy;
- IT and hosting providers maintaining our website.
5. Transfers outside the EU
If you contact us via WhatsApp, your communication runs through Meta’s service, which may involve transfers to third countries (e.g. the USA). Such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
6. Retention
- Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking — kept for at most 24 months, then deleted.
- Booking, payment and invoicing data — kept for the periods required by tax and accounting law.
- Data registered in eVisitor — as required by the rules governing guest registration and the tourist tax.
- ID inspection — we do not retain a copy longer than necessary for registration, unless the law requires otherwise.
7. Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website.
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies needed for basic operation and security (e.g. WordPress technical settings). We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, nor any third-party cookies that would require your consent, so no consent banner is shown on the site.
You can review and delete all cookies at any time in your browser settings.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). Send requests to info@apartmentsinbol.com.
If you believe your data is processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), Selska cesta 136, 10000 Zagreb, email: azop@azop.hr, web: azop.hr.
9. Terms of Use
Copyright. The text on this site belongs to the Host. Photographs are protected by copyright and are used with the permission of the rights holders. Content may not be copied or used without permission.
Accuracy and availability. We strive to keep accommodation, price and availability information accurate and current, but we do not guarantee against errors or later changes. A booking is confirmed only after the Host’s explicit confirmation.
Booking and payment. Bookings are arranged via enquiry. Confirmation usually requires an advance payment (deposit); the balance is paid as agreed. Payment is not processed through this website.
External links. This site contains links to third-party content (e.g. a link that opens Google Maps). We are not responsible for their content or data practices.
Governing law. Use of this site is governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always available on this page, with the date of last update.
